Rob Polishook, Mental Training Coach, M.A. C.P.C www.insidethezone.com
Rob Polishook is the founder and director of Inside the Zone Sports Performance Group. As a sport psychology and performance coach, Rob works with athletes and teams helping them identify their goals, develop strategies to reach them, and strengthen their competitive mental skills. His work with athletes concentrates on issues that may block individual and team performance such as nervousness, lack of trust, and poor team cohesiveness.
Rob works as the Mental Training Coach for Lee Hurst’s 360 High Performance Tennis Program where he conducts workshops, interactive players circles, 1 on 1 session with players, and parent interventions. His unique approach focuses on the athlete as a person first and a performer second and the Coach-Parent-Player triad. Rob’s genuine manner encourages both athletes and teams, on and off the field, to work through peak performance issues using self-awareness, trust of self, and the natural process of brain/body intuition. This unique inside-out approach encourages and empowers self-choice, responsibility, and positive change. Rob’s focus is to help athletes and teams perform in a relaxed and confident manner. Ultimately, this means that athletes are able to reach a point where they do not over-think competition or results, but trust their hours of practice, preparation, and instincts with the objective to compete at the highest level possible.
